A friend is letting this home out through Air B&B and asked me to take a few photos as it had recently been slightly modified. I love the clean lines and the open spaces. I had photographed it a few years ago as well, so this time I concentrated on the improvements.
What a grand old dame! An absolute treasure trove of antiques, yellowwood floors and high ceilings. This home is for sale and I was asked to capture the atmosphere of it for prospective buyers.
I have to admit that this was a tough one! This monastery was on the market, but being a monastery, the decor was very sparce and it was difficult to capture any warmth. I had to remind myself that the photos were meant to document the premises as they were and didn't necessarily have to be "pretty."
My HAPPY place! This is one of the most beautiful venues to photograph. I have done so twice before so here I concentrated on the improvements, changes and the outdoors.
A beautiful lodge in the KZN Midlands which had recently changed ownership. It was warm and inviting and each room had its own unique charm. I really enjoyed my time here and there was also a small shop on the premises much to my creative delight.
